MEET OUR PASTOR
Lead Pastor, Jamey Miller
Jamey Miller is the founding and lead pastor of Antioch Fort Worth (originally called Christ Fellowship), and the President of Antioch Ministries International – Fort Worth (AMIFW). Jamey also serves on the U.S. Oversight Team for The Antioch International Movement of Churches.
After a dramatic encounter with Jesus Christ during his senior year of college, Jamey began a process of seeking the Lord that led him from his career in business into preaching, ministry, and church planting. In 1993, Jamey and his wife Kim planted the church along with eleven other friends and their children. Their vision was to be the church that they read about in the book of Acts. They believed (and still do) that the church is called to be a life-giving, multiplying, reproducing, Christ-manifesting, multi-ethnic community of people who are joining together to worship God and change the world.
In 2001, they started a training school to help train potential church planters and missionaries. In 2002, they started AMIFW in order to better serve and care for the churches being planted and the missionaries that they were sending out.
In 2008, after years of serving and partnering with the Antioch Movement in different ways, the leaders of the church understood that the Lord was calling them to formally connect with Antioch. This partnership is a relationship where resources, life, and love are shared. In 2018, Christ Fellowship changed its name to Antioch Fort Worth, in order to further partner and identify with the Antioch Movement. As part of this movement, Antioch Fort Worth is partnering with tens of thousands of believers around the world who are making disciples, planting churches, and engaging in powerful ministries of justice like Acts of Mercy and UnBound.
Jamey and his wife Kim have been married 33 wonderful years. They love Jesus and believe that their marriage is getting better and better as a picture of Christ and the church. They love being a part of what God has done and is continuing to do through Antioch Fort Worth. There’s no place they’d rather be. They have two children: Emily, who is married to Aaron Wardlaw (the worship pastor at Antioch Fort Worth) and Matthew, who is married to Julia. Jamey is committed to lifelong learning and holds the Doctor of Ministry degree from Baylor University/Truett Seminary.
