What is a lifegroup?

LifeGroups are more than just a small group—they are the church.

The early Church in Acts 2:42-47 met in homes, devoted themselves to teaching and time with one another, ate meals together, and collectively lived out the mission of Jesus. At Antioch Fort Worth, we believe we are still called to live this way today.

LifeGroups are the heartbeat of our church, where faith grows, friendships form, and lives are transformed.

Join us for our College LifeGroups, which meet three times a month at homes near TCU’s campus. Once a month, we gather as an entire ministry in the home of an Antioch family for worship, fellowship and a teaching/discussion.

Every LifeGroup is unique, but most follow a similar rhythm:

LifeGroups aren’t just another event on your calendar—they are spaces where real relationships are built and faith is lived out.

Most groups meet weekly or biweekly, and some have additional social gatherings. LifeGroups meet in homes, coffee shops, and sometimes even outside at parks!

The key is consistency—LifeGroups are meant to be ongoing, committed communities where people build lasting relationships.

Yes! We encourage people to check out a group first—there’s no pressure to commit right away.
