LifeGroups

Our LifeGroups are welcoming and reproducing small groups where we encounter Jesus, grow as disciples of Jesus, and impact our city and the world around us.

In Acts 2:42-47, members of the early Church met house to house, devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, eating meals together, and collectively sharing their faith to live out the mission of Jesus. At Antioch Fort Worth, we believe we are still called to live out that model of the early Church today.

The mission of LifeGroups is to see reproducing small groups around our city that facilitate making disciples of all ages by encountering Jesus in worship, Biblical application, transparent community, and intentional outreach. LifeGroups are not just a ministry of the church; they are the church. At Antioch Fort Worth, there are LifeGroups for people in every season of life and in a number of locations around Fort Worth.

Discipleship

Jesus modeled discipleship in how He intentionally walked with the people around him, and He asks us to do the same thing today (Matthew 28:19). Discipleship is more than just a “Bible study” – it describes a model of pursuing a relationship with Jesus and committing to accountability with two or three people. This allows for a safe space to ask questions, dig deeper in faith, and receive encouragement, which allows us to grow into a place where we can then invest in the lives of others.

Our group had been hoping to find a place in which we could serve with our kids out in the Fort Worth community. We were blessed to get to serve dinner to families at the Presbyterian Night Shelter as well as connect with families while eating popsicles on the playground.

We had a lot going on in our life, a lot of personal hardships and our LifeGroup rallied around us without hesitation and helped meet practical needs as well as cover us in prayer constantly. It was such a blessing to have a community I could depend on and trust when life was fragile.

College

Join us for our College LifeGroups, which are scheduled every other week to coordinate with our College Night meetings at the church. Our upcoming College LifeGroups meetings are on the following dates: 8/30, 9/13, 9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/8, and 11/29.
